INTRODUCTION

Amendments to the Employment Act 1955 (2022) have already been implemented in West Malaysia starting 1st of January 2023.

This two-days’ workshop will introduce those managers to human resource concepts. We will walk you through the amended Employment Act, which include the new working hours, increase of maternity leave; and cover some issues that arise such as compensation, and discipline. At the same note, participants will be clearer on the details for amended employment act which effective on 1st January 2023. All relevant provisions under the Act will be highlighted including the EMPLOYMENT (AMENDMENT) ACT 2022.

This program will cover the pertinent and relevant areas of the Employment Act (both Old and New) and the differences that the new amendments bring about that deals with minimum employee benefits, minimum requirements to be adhered to, definitions that must be complied with and how we can utilize the Act to better manage our employees.
